The Catholic Diocese of Dori confirms that 15 parishioners were killed on Sunday during a terrorist attack in Essakane village and two others injured, as jihadist groups linked to al-Qaida and the so-called Islamic State (IS) continue to extend their range of action in the vast Sahel region.
