Opposing the Truth

TRANSCRIPT

A celebrity priest is once again showing he prefers the homosexual agenda over Church tradition.

Church Militant’s Nick Wylie discusses the latest anti-Catholic rhetoric by the man whose outreach is leading people out of the Church.

Fr. James Martin, S.J., editor at large, America magazine: “But the people who really love you will accept you as you really are, even if it may take some of them time to discover that love.”

Homosexualist priest Fr. James Martin is denouncing the new education policy in the diocese of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The new policy upholds Church doctrines on human sexuality and demands schools act in accordance with those truths.

The dissident Jesuit posted a long Twitter thread Tuesday attacking the orthodox guidelines, which declare, “Students may not advocate, celebrate or express same-sex attraction in such a way as to cause confusion or distraction.”

Fr. Martin wrote:

People should be able to, and encouraged to, “celebrate” who they are and, more importantly, how God made them … This is an essential part of a healthy spirituality for anyone.

Fr. James Martin: “I’m not challenging Church teaching on same-sex marriage, same-sex relations or anything else for that matter. And if I’ve said, done or written anything that seemed to imply otherwise, that wasn’t my intent.”

He followed up:

Imagine being an LGBTQ student … and reading that statement. Would you feel welcomed? Valued? Loved? And how people are treated by their church influences, for better or worse, how they understand themselves in God’s eyes.

Fr.  James Martin: “Think of all the people in your life who love you and accept you and want the best for you. That’s God’s love working through them. How else would God work?”

This is just the latest example of Fr. Martin twisting Church teachings on sexuality and attempting to guilt people into accepting sin instead of embracing truth.

As reported previously, Fr. Martin was reappointed to another five-year term as a consultor for the Vatican’s Dicastery for Communication last week. Some of the faithful are asking why a man who opposes Catholic doctrine is given a position of influence in the Church.
