When the Christian duty to share the Good News is brought up, it is usually in the context of verbalizing something. Artistic works, however, can complement words or show the way to salvation even more clearly. Indeed, when words fall short in explaining the glorious truths of the Catholic faith, visual artistry comes in quite handy. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states the following, quite notably, in the treatment of the commandment not to bear false witness
