Reflections on life, meaning and purpose

Is Man Truly Saved by Faith Alone?

TRANSCRIPT

A major fallacy among those who call themselves “Christian” is the rather modern notion that once you’re saved, you’re always saved.

Nothing could be further from the truth. In fact, it’s not just not biblical; it’s actually anti-biblical. Saint Paul says, among many things, “You have made a shipwreck of your faith,” talking to Christians, Catholics actually, already baptized.

When Church Militant was originally founded back in 2006, it was to help Catholics come to a greater love and appreciation of the Faith. That hasn’t changed at all.

You have made a shipwreck of your faith.

Three years into that mission, we encountered massive evil and corruption in the hierarchy and quickly realized that evil, that lack of supernatural faith, was a detriment to people’s embrace of the Faith.

So we added to our already considerable theological arsenal news reporting and investigations to help people come to understand how the corruption of the hierarchy was impacting their own spiritual lives.

That said, we never want to waver from what I would call our “core programming,” the direct theological content. That is always available through a Premium subscription, thousands of hours and hundreds of episodes touching on practically every topic imaginable in the Faith.

We highly encourage you to sign up: It’s only $10 per month, and that gives you access to a vast storehouse not available anywhere else.

So in the spirit of our core mission, we are providing this episode for free, but again, highly encourage you to sign up today for direct access to all of our theological content.
