In an interview with Vatican News, the President of the Bishops’ Conference of Pakistan, Archbishop Joseph Arshad of Islamabad-Rawalpindi, who saw firsthand of the suffering and displaced Christians, appeals for prayer on Day of Prayer for Pakistan in the wake of the violent mob violence against Christian places of worship and homes in Jaranwala, and insists work must be done to prevent misuse of laws and to bring justice to those who abuse them.
