At a Sept. 13 session of the European Parliament that focused on COVID-19 response and the World Health Organization, MEP Anderson urged the public to make a promise of their own in the face of returning COVID-19 measures.
She implored individuals not to comply with mask mandates, mRNA vaccinations or curfews, and she advocated for a simple but powerful response: “Simply say no!”
Anderson explained that once individuals firmly reject compliance, they strip away the power of those imposing measures. Fear of consequences, she argued, allows authorities to maintain control, so saying no is key to reclaiming personal freedom.
