Pontifical Academy for Life Members’ Support for Assisted Suicide Draws Criticism

Cardinal Willem Eijk, a medical doctor and a member of the academy, firmly rejected the support, saying assisted suicide and euthanasia both bear ‘the same moral responsibility’ in carrying out a murder.
