Open letter explains how the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith issued a mistaken ruling on hysterectomies

In 1993 the CDF condemned a ruling of the CDF in 2018, 25 years before the latter’s appearance, by prohibiting hysterectomy when the uterus does not constitute a present health danger for the woman.
