New York City is reeling from another violent subway attack carried out yesterday, and politicians are proffering solutions for a crime crisis.

Church Militant’s Aidan O’Connor takes a look at the Left’s call for more gun control.

Early Tuesday morning, a man set off smoke bombs and opened fire on the New York Subway System, injuring some 30 bystanders.

A few hours later, New York’s Democrat mayor called for a nationwide crackdown on guns.

Eric Adams, D-N.Y.: “This is a national response. We need a national response to this issue.”

Less than 24 hours before the shooting, sham-Catholic Joe Biden announced new regulations on gun sales.

Joe Biden: “The Department of Justice launched a nation, a national gun, ghost-gun enforcement initiative.”

New York has been plagued with rising crime and violence in recent years, with attacks even happening in broad daylight.

In 2019, Democrats in Congress — including bartender turned representative AOC — vehemently opposed a plan to increase security in New York’s subways by hiring 500 additional transit officers.

The anti-police liberals balked at the proposal, calling it “unnecessary” and brushing off what they called “low-level, victimless crimes.”

After yesterday’s attack, AOC and other leftists took to Twitter to gush compassion in a crisis many critics accuse them of creating.

As unelected Biden’s administration tightens its grip on gun rights, the national crime crisis is spiraling further out of control and claiming countless American lives.
