Reflections on life, meaning and purpose

‘A Cloak and Dagger Operation’

TRANSCRIPT

The West was poised to champion Ukraine before Russia even invaded.

As mainstream media’s wall-to-wall coverage gives new reasons for warmongering, Church Militant’s Kristine Christlieb highlights the CIA’s misinformation campaign.

Joe Biden: “Your family budget and ability to fill up your tank, none of it should hinge on whether a dictator declares war and commits genocide a half a world away.”

The next day, Biden committed another $800 million in military aid to Ukraine.

Many Americans are quick to support the move and raise the blue and yellow flag. But why did Americans choose sides? Because the CIA-fed media prepped them.

Earlier this month, NBC News spoke to three U.S. officials, who admitted to pumping false war propaganda into mainstream media before Russia invaded.

They had no evidence Russia was going to use chemical weapons in Ukraine, yet that story was pushed by Biden. Only now is it being investigated. Officials told NBC the misinformation was a “preventative” measure “to get inside Putin’s head.”

“It doesn’t have to be solid intelligence when we talk about it. It’s more important to get out ahead of them — Putin specifically — before they do something.” But Big Media pushed the claims, brainwashing the public.

Information wars, of course, are not new. And even though there are risks, insiders praise the strategy. In 2020, the U.S. intelligence community was petitioned to declassify information to deflect propaganda from Moscow and Beijing. Nine military combat commanders wrote, “We request this help to better enable the United States, and, by extension, its allies and partners, to win without fighting … and to supply ammunition in the ongoing war of narratives.”

Even if the CIA’s intentions are benign, compromising truth leaves lingering side effects. The corruption has been known for a long time. President JFK wanted to “splinter the CIA into a thousand pieces and scatter it into the winds.” And President Harry Truman never intended it to be “a cloak-and-dagger operation.”
