After two-year delay, developed countries transfer $100 billion climate finance to Global South

For the first time in 2022, developed countries have fulfilled their promise to transfer at least $100 billion annually to developing countries for climate finance, according to an OECD report. The issue of climate finance often causes tension between the Global North and the Global South.
