Biopic about unheralded civil rights organizer Bayard Rustin disappoints

“Rustin” is a laudable attempt to restore the appropriate historical stature of someone too many have forgotten. But despite Colman Domingo’s outstanding portrayal of Bayard Rustin, the biopic ultimately disappoints.
