Bishop Tobin of Providence, R.I., retires, is succeeded by Coadjutor Bishop Henning

Pope Francis has accepted the resignation of Bishop Thomas J. Tobin of Providence, Rhode Island, and Coadjutor Bishop Richard G. Henning of Providence immediately succeeds him.
