Since at least June, the federal government has been flying illegal immigrants from the southern border into American cities. Church Militant’s Kristine Christlieb follows the jet trail.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport is the Biden regime’s latest “ghost flight” destination for illegal immigrants. They are called ghost flights because the government arrangements are often secret, on chartered flights or using military planes that arrive late at night without passenger manifests.

In October, Biden White House press secretary Jen Psaki admitted these flights were taking place.

Jen Psaki, White House press secretary: “As part of the unification process, our Office of Refugee Resettlement facilitates travel for children in its custody to its families or sponsors across the country.”

Investigators in Jacksonville, Florida, documented flights coming in from several cities in Texas and California.

Republican congressman Michael Waltz spoke for many Floridians.

Rep. Michael Waltz, R-Fla.: “The Biden administration is keeping Congress in the dark on this. I think they know Americans would be outraged.”

And now, it is Republican Pennsylvania congressman Dan Meuser’s turn to be outraged.

In a letter to Homeland Security secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Meuser wrote, “The lack of communication and transparency surrounding this process is unacceptable. Your agency failed to notify me or any other local officials of these activities.”

Florida governor Ron DeSantis is recommending that illegal immigrants be flown to Biden’s home state of Delaware or to Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts (where the wealthy spend their holidays), or San Francisco.

The last flight of illegal immigrants into Wilkes-Barre/Scranton is scheduled for Thursday night. It is not known what city is next on the administration’s immigrant-flight schedule.
