Cardinals Cupich, McElroy promote Synod’s ‘urgent’ call for female governance

Cardinals Robert McElroy and Blase Cupich, both of whom were personal appointees to the synod by Pope Francis, once again pressed on the ‘urgent’ need to explore the role of women in Church governance and leadership.
