Catholic Bishops of Africa meeting in Accra, Ghana, for their 19th Plenary Assembly Saturday, elected Ghanaian Cardinal-designate Bishop Richard Kuuia Baawobr as the new President of the Symposium of Episcopal Conferences of Africa and Madagascar (SECAM).
