Homosexual Plague

LONDON (ChurchMilitant.com) – Practicing homosexuals are driving the spread of monkeypox, according to a recent survey of cases in the United Kingdom.

Of the 524 confirmed cases in the United Kingdom, “most cases have been in men who are gay, bisexual or have sex with men,” the U.K. Health Agency reported Wednesday.

And in surveying 152 cases last week, the U.K. Health Agency found 151 participants, or 99%, were practicing homosexuals who “identify as gay, bisexual or men who have sex with men.”

The monkeypox outbreak allegedly stems from a gay sauna in Spain and a fetish festival in Belgium. The first monkeypox patient to publicly speak about his condition told The Daily Mail he probably contracted the virus from one of 10 different men he had  intercourse with over the span of a few weeks.

The virus has spread to the United States, with 72 cases being confirmed across 18 states in the last month. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released emergency guidance concerning the virus on Tuesday.

The CDC and WHO have refused to expressly warn the active homosexual community.

The CDC and World Health Organization have refused to expressly warn the active homosexual community about the monkeypox risk that comes with sodomy.

With “Pride Month” events planned all of June, Andy Seale, a strategy advisor in the WHO maintained, “It’s important that people who want to go out and celebrate gay pride, LGBTQ+ pride, to continue to go and plan to do so.”

Steve Taylor

Steve Taylor, a board member for a European LGBT group, spoke about the LGBT community and monkeypox at a WHO media briefing on Wednesday. Taylor believes the over 700 pride events planned across Europe this summer should continue as normal, despite the virus.

“We will encourage pride organizations across Europe to use their events to raise awareness of the facts about monkeypox so that people can protect themselves,” Taylor explained.

Taylor continued, praising the WHO’s pro-LGBT messaging:

Sadly, but entirely predictably, some of those who oppose pride and who oppose equality and human rights have already been attempting to use monkeypox as a justification for calls for pride to be banned. We are pleased the WHO guidance is clear that pride and major events should not be affected and are, in fact, opportunities to share important public health messaging.

In contrast with the CDC and WHO, U.K. health officials are trying to stop the spread by discouraging infected men from having homosexual intercourse. But the WHO’s monkeypox guidance specifically notes that “stigmatizing people because of a disease is never OK.”

Independent journalist Jordan Schachtel suggested the CDC ought to enforce a lockdown on the gay community: “Why won’t the woke CDC, FDA, NIH tell you that the monkeypox outbreak is very specifically targeted to one community? When will the renowned ‘public health experts’ suggest lockdowns of this community?”

When will the ‘public health experts’ suggest lockdowns of the gay community?

Far-left publication The Atlantic, on May 28, called for a “specific warning about monkeypox” for gay men. Journalist Jim Downs believes the government is afraid to “single out a group that endured terrible stigma at the height of America’s AIDS crisis,” even as “public health authorities investigate possible links to sexual or other close physical contact at a pride event in the Canary Islands, a sauna in Madrid and other gay venues in Europe.”

Downs suggested public health agencies should “press gay social media apps and other online platforms to tell their users that men who have sex with men have been disproportionately infected by the virus.”

Other leftist media outlets, however, disagree with Downs’ perspective. The Scientific American published an article titled “Blaming Gay Men for Monkeypox Will Harm Everyone,” which discouraged a narrative that blamed gay men for monkeypox, regardless of any U.K. Health Agency data.

But in Montreal, Canada, health officials announced a campaign explicitly pushing homosexual men to get a monkeypox vaccination. Dr. Mylène Drouin warned Wednesday, “We are asking men who are going to or do have sexual relationships with men in Montreal during the summer — in the next few weeks or months, we are offering them the vaccination.”

Drouin added, “We are not in a [vaccination] campaign for the entire population, but only for those at risk.”

She affirmed that an event in Montreal at the end of April was a “superspreader.” Drouin did not specify the exact name or date of the event but hundreds of thousands gathered in the city for a “pride march” led by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on April 19.
