MAHOMET, Ill. (ChurchMilitant.com) – An Illinois congresswoman is urging Americans to hang on to their guns and Second Amendment rights as threats of attacks increase due to President Joe Biden’s open borders.
Rep. Mary Miller, R-Ill., took to X to remind everyday Americans to remain in defense mode. Miller, who represents the 15th District of Illinois in the U.S. House of Representatives, posted this word of caution:
Americans must remain vigilant and prepared to defend ourselves and our families since Joe Biden has opened our southern border and we have no idea who has crossed into our country.
The Second Amendment is the great safeguard of liberty & security. Never give up your 2A rights.
Miller’s reminder to remain locked and loaded has been given new impetus since her Oct. 10 posting given Hamas’ recent call for a day of anger on Friday, Oct. 13. Former Hamas chief Khaled Mashal issued a global call to Muslims worldwide, and especially those living in America, to commit acts of jihad, or holy war, this Friday.

Social media posts are warning non-Muslims to stay away from major cities on Friday, the day of obligatory congregational prayer for Muslims. They also warn that unarmed cities like Los Angeles, Chicago and New York City are the highest-risk cities in America.
Unlike Rep. Miller, Catholic prelates have urged restrictions on Second Amendment rights. In April, Tennessee bishops Mark Spalding, David Talley and Richard Stika signed a letter petitioning the state for stricter enforcement of gun laws.
The Biden Regime, who labels Trump supporters as national security threats, is awfully quiet about Hamas’ call for a Day of Jihad.

The bishops were criticized for “meddling outside their sacred job classification.” They were also seen as naive, with one critic responding to their push for gun control by saying, “Restricting access to guns is just putting a bandaid on a severed artery. The only solution is to convert the hearts, minds, and souls of deeply wounded sinners.”
Another observer said, “Anything infringing on good people having the arms they feel they need to defend themselves is unconstitutional.”
