Thousands of Irish people have offered to shelter Ukrainian refugees arriving in the country. The Secretary-General of the Irish Red Cross, Liam O’Dwyer says 5,500 to 6,000 refugees have arrived in Ireland, and that number will more than double over the coming weeks.
