OTTENBURG, Belgium (ChurchMilitant.com) – A world’s leading vaccine expert is warning the World Health Organization (WHO), scientists and governments that “mass vaccination amidst a viral pandemic” will unleash an “irrepressible monster” and create a “global catastrophe without equal.”
Issuing an “emergency call,” Dr. Geert Vanden Bossche — a virologist with 30 years’ experience — is predicting that mass immunization could turn “a relatively harmless virus into a bioweapon of mass destruction” and “wipe out large parts of our human population.”
Bossche, who worked in top positions at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI), published a “key document” on “mass vaccination and immune escape” Wednesday. This document follows his March 6 letter to the WHO.
The scientist who worked for several vaccine companies (including Novartis Vaccines, GSK Biologicals and Solvay Biologicals) researching and developing vaccines, insists repeatedly he is “all but an anti-vaxxer” and commends the current vaccines as “designed, developed and manufactured by brilliant and competent scientists.”
Nevertheless, such “prophylactic vaccines” are “highly dangerous when used in mass vaccination campaigns during a viral pandemic,” Bossche observes, noting that “current human interventions” could turn circulating variants into a “wild monster.”
Short-Term vs. Long-Term Effects
“Vaccinologists, scientists and clinicians are blinded by the positive short-term effects in individual patients, but don’t seem to bother about the disastrous consequences for global health,” Bossche laments, slamming the silence of “the elite of scientists who are currently advising our world leaders.”
In a number of recently published papers, Bossche explains how people who have been vaccinated will spread the COVID-19 virus rather than protect the unvaccinated. Further, the immune systems of the vaccinated will be less effective at fighting variants of the virus. Hence, he claims, an unvaccinated person may stand a better chance against future virus variants.
This will happen because widespread vaccination will apply strong selection pressure on the virus to develop mutations that will ultimately become immune to the vaccine. Bossche believes such campaigns are thus inadvertently creating more deadly variants and recommends fighting the virus by developing a strong immune system.
Bossche has come under a media blitz of “fact-checkers” seeking to discredit his claims. Gary McLean, professor of molecular immunology at London Metropolitan University, told AFP fact-checkers that rather than creating a “monster” as Bossche suggests, mutations in the spike protein may hinder the spread of the virus.
While a number of virologists have disputed his fear of what’s called “escape variants,” other scientists are discussing the dangers of “substantial immune evasion” as a “virological game changer.”
Canadian scientist Dr. Byram Bridle, associate professor of viral immunology at the University of Guelph, concurs with Bossche, noting that “current design of the vaccines and the way they are being rolled out creates risk of the emergence of immunoevasive variants.”
Dire Warning: ‘Massive Scale Depopulation’
However, Dr. Michael Yeadon, former Pfizer vice president and chief scientist for allergy and respiratory diseases, said while he rejected Bossche’s theory that mass vaccination would lead to escape variants, he agreed with the Dutch scientist’s “operational conclusion: do not vaccinate everybody.”
In November, Yeadon emphasized that “there is absolutely no need for vaccines to extinguish the pandemic.”
“I’ve never heard such nonsense talked about vaccines,” Yeadon remarked. “You do not vaccinate people who aren’t at risk from a disease. You also don’t set about planning to vaccinate millions of fit and healthy people with a vaccine that hasn’t been extensively tested on human subjects.”
Last Thursday, the scientist told America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) it is “entirely possible” that vaccine campaigns “will be used for massive-scale depopulation.”
“Please warn every person not to go near top-up vaccines. There is absolutely no need for them,” Yeadon stressed.
“If someone wished to harm or kill a significant proportion of the world’s population over the next few years, the systems being put in place right now will enable it,” he added.
Certainty: ‘New Infectious Variants’
Despite the backlash, Bossche is digging in his heels and insisting that because mass vaccination campaigns have started in the vulnerable population, “not only vaccinated subjects but also not yet vaccinated younger age groups will become a breeding ground for new infectious variants.”
“There can be no doubt that continued mass vaccination campaigns will give rise to more viral variants with ever- increasing infectiousness and ultimately result in a dramatic incline in new cases despite enhanced vaccine coverage rates,” the Dutch virologist concludes.
On Tuesday, Mayor Rachel Reese of Nelson, New Zealand, ordered the cancellation of a video screening featuring Dr. Bossche, alleging that the scientist’s perspective “undermines critical public health outcomes.”
“Vaccination will provide the greatest health benefit that the community can participate in, and I support a relentlessly positive approach to combating COVID-19,” Reese said.
The event was to be held at the Greenmeadows Community Center, owned by the Nelson City Council.
