A bipartisan coalition of attorneys general recently filed a federal lawsuit accusing Meta — the company behind Facebook and Instagram — of taking advantage of children. The suit alleges algorithms and other features on the platforms were designed to get teenagers addicted. It also claims the tech giant illegally gathered data about minors.
