CNN reporter: “This is how Ukraine’s army is halting Russia’s advance.”
While the world is fixated on Ukraine, something ominous is occurring under the radar. China and Russia are forming a partnership to challenge the United States and NATO for world dominance.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga.: “America is no longer in charge on the world stage. Our friends and enemies alike see this once-great nation led by a weak, dementia-ridden fossil in the White House.”
This partnership isn’t confined to the military and political realms. It extends into matters economic, cultural and religious. China and Russia are united in their disdain for American supremacy. These two frenemies know that toppling the West necessitates an alliance, one that undoubtedly would dissolve after achieving its goal. China’s totalitarian atheism and Putin’s dream of a totalitarian Russian Orthodox State do not mix. Nevertheless, China and Russia just signed a 5,000-word agreement last month that will guide their new alliance.
Robert Daly, director, Kissinger Institute on China and the United States: “I think the statement that Putin and Xi Jinping issued is important, and, in retrospect, seven years hence might look like a real milestone. … This will have implications in Europe as well as in Asia.”
Daly added, “This is a pledge to stand shoulder to shoulder against America and the West.”
Daly: “A quasi-alliance between China and Russia.”
The two countries held joint naval exercises in October, and China is already making noises about annexing Taiwan.
NewsRme reporter: “Russian president Vladimir Putin and Chinese president Xi Jinping announced a new era in world politics and reaffirmed their country’s claims to Ukrainian and Taiwanese territory, respectively, last week.”
While the U.S. dollar declines, the Eurasian Economic Union is designing a monetary system to bypass the dollar. Saudi Arabia has already threatened to accept Chinese yuan rather than U.S. dollars when selling oil to China.
Rep. Greene: “It is impossible to overstate the consequences to America if the dollar loses its position as the preeminent international medium of exchange.”
Western culture is dying. Communists, terrorists and despots are smelling blood.
Jordan Peterson, clinical psychologist: “Everyone’s being taught now that they’re a victim.”
A strong, Christian America would have prevented such challenges to the fading world order. But when the post-Christian West rejects its sacred heritage, loses its moral compass and is sapped of its strength, global upheaval becomes inevitable.
The Eurasian alliance extends to other countries. Iran is about to sign an agreement with Russia for a new strategic partnership. And India is reportedly willing to buy Russian oil and maintain trade relations despite the West’s sanctions against Moscow.
