The first week of Advent has come and nearly gone; have you got that eschatological feeling yet? I say that somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but only somewhat. Meditating on the second coming of Christ, and the attendant end of all things temporal is not the sort of thing that lends itself to idle reflection.
