In a message to participants in an international conference organized by PLURIEL, the University Platform for Research on Islam, Pope Francis warned against “a lack of understanding of others, a failure to listen, and a lack of intellectual flexibility.”
During the four-day conference, which is taking place in Abu Dhabi, scholars are examining the “Impact and prospects” of the Document on Human Fraternity, signed by Pope Francis and the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar in February 2019.
