Propagandist Rewrites History

Democrats have learned the power of rewriting history with programs like critical race theory. Historical revision, however, has long since been made into an art form by Islamic Turks. Church Militant’s Trey Blanton reveals the Turkic operative deceiving Americans about Islamist aggression.

Christian students in the Armenian Republic of Artsakh celebrated Christmas last week in their school, established after the conflict of 2020 when Azerbaijan, a Muslim-majority nation, assaulted the territory.

Armenia, under King Tiridates III, was the first nation in the world to embrace Christianity as the State religion (in the early fourth century). An Azerbaijani representative to California, however, rewrote history on Christmas to say Azerbaijan has the centuries-old Christian tradition.

Armen Morian, chairman of the board, St. Illuminator’s Armenian Cathedral: “This red herring of an argument they only concocted in the 1920s when, during the post-Soviet period, they had to create a national origin story to kind of justify their existence as a Soviet republic.”

What is called Azerbaijan today was created in 1918 when the Azeris — a Turkic-Iranian tribe — seized the capital of Baku with the help of troops from the Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman Empire had already begun the Armenian Genocide in Anatolia, modern-day Turkey, and massacred another nearly 10,000 Armenians in Baku.

Still today, churches and crosses are either destroyed or converted into mosques or secular institutions.

Morian: “Now that the Azeris have come into ownership and control over this vast number of Armenian Christian sites, they see dollar signs, in effect.”

Muslims don’t protect Christian heritage; they subjugate it to the tenets of Islam.

Azerbaijan’s propaganda in the United States has yielded fruit. The Christian governor of Oklahoma, Kevin Stitt, and Oklahoma State University both increased partnership with the terrorist-sponsoring nation earlier this year.
