Simon Harris, who led push for legalized abortion in Ireland, appointed nation’s prime minister

In a vote of 88 to 69, pro-abortion Simon Harris was confirmed by his fellow parliamentarians as the incoming prime minister of Ireland following the shock resignation of Leo Varadkar on March 20.
