News anchor: “Iowa, Mississippi, Montana, North Dakota and Texas have all lifted their mask mandates.”
More states are refusing mask mandates along with other pandemic protocols, and the establishment powers are not happy. Wisconsin and Wyoming are the latest states to stop mandating face coverings, despite Joe Biden’s apparent emotional plea.
Joe Biden: “Please, this is not politics. Reinstate the mandate if you let it down.”
Wisconsin Supreme Court Wednesday blocked Democrat governor Tony Evers from continuing to impose face masks on his state. Wyoming’s Republican governor Mark Gordon already lifted his state’s restrictions March 16. A total of 19 states, at this point, are not requiring masks.
Dr. Anthony Fauci: “Masks are not theater, masks are protective.”
Meanwhile, Joe Biden, the CDC, the World Health Organization — with the medical and media establishments backing them — claim masks, distancing and forced closures are all about health.
Biden: “The failure to take this virus seriously risks more cases of more deaths.”
Nonetheless, states without stringent pandemic restrictions don’t seem to be worse off than those with such restraints. Texas Governor Greg Abbott is reporting his state is better off since lifting the mask order March 2.
Reporter: “The governor championed his state’s success in a Friday night tweet saying, ‘Today Texas recorded the lowest 7-day COVID positivity rate since the data began being calculated: 5.43%.'”
Florida’s governor, Ron DeSantis, never issued a statewide mask requirement. He speaks on the harm COVID-related constraints cause children.
Gov. DeSantis: “Closing schools offers virtually nothing in terms of virus mitigation but imposes huge costs on our kids.”
While Biden refers to states without mask restrictions as ‘neanderthal’ …
Biden: “The last thing we need is Neanderthal thinking.”
The real Neanderthals, according to DeSantis, are those wanting to keep schools closed.
DeSantis: “People who advocate closing schools for virus mitigation are effectively today’s flat-earthers. They have no scientific or evidence support for their position.”
DeSantis also believes closing businesses did nothing but cripple the economy and hurt the American family.
DeSantis: “I can tell you these business closures have not worked to arrest the spread of the virus.”
While this pandemic continues to afflict the country in various ways, much of the decision-making seems to be driven by ideology.
