In late March, Florida governor Ron DeSantis, a Catholic, signed House Bill 1557 (or the “Parental Rights in Education Act”). The bill prohibits classroom discussion about sexual orientation or so-called gender identity in certain grade levels.
Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla.: “Parents have a fundamental role in the education, health care and well-being of their children.”
The bill protects children (kindergartners up to third grade) from being groomed by perverts.
Cory Bernaert (an openly gay Florida kindergarten teacher): “I don’t want to have to hide that my partner and I went paddleboarding this weekend.”
The White House, Disney, ESPN and the like all condemned the bill, and so did the so-called mental health industry. The American Psychological Association says that not teaching 5-year-olds about gay sex and genital mutilation is “psychologically damaging.” The American Psychiatric Association also condemned the Florida bill.
But this is no surprise: The corrupt mental health system recommends puberty blockers and genital mutilation, which they dub “surgical affirmation.”
