Trudeau’s AG claims Emergencies Act use was justified over ‘risk of serious violence’

Attorney General and Justice Minister Arif Virani’s claim comes as Trudeau is appealing the Federal Court ruling which found that his use of the Emergency Act in 2022 to crush the Freedom Convoy was ‘not justified.’
