Unelected President Joe Biden’s Build Back Better plan has been looming in the distance for months, threatening to cost American taxpayers trillions of dollars. Church Militant’s Aidan O’Connor takes a look at one Democrat who plans to torpedo Biden’s bill.
Manchin in an ad: “I might be a few years older, but I’ll still take on anyone that messes with West Virginia.”
West Virginia senator Joe Manchin sent shock waves through his Democratic Party last night. Manchin appeared on Fox News Sunday, blasting fake Catholic Biden’s leviathan Build Back Better bill.
Manchin: “If I can’t go home and explain it to the people of West Virginia, I can’t vote for it, and I cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation. I just can’t. I’ve tried everything humanly possible. I can’t get there.”
Interviewer: “You’re done; this is a ‘no’.”
The self-styled “moderate Democrat” revealed he plans to shoot down Joe Biden’s massive socialist spending bill.
The tepid Catholic senator hasn’t always defended unborn life. But now he’s taking a stand against Biden’s mammoth pork bill. His decision practically kills Biden’s legislation — and leftists are furious.
Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn.: “The excuses that he just made, I think are complete bull-s***.”
Rep. Ayanna Pressley, D-Mass.: “He is obstructing the president’s agenda … .”
Rep. Maxine Waters, D-Calif.: “Absolutely disgusting and amazing to me.”
Fake Catholic Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi responded with disappointment but announced she plans to revisit the proposed leftist legislation in the new year.
Biden’s White House also decried Manchin’s decision, accusing the senator of breaching his political commitments. This, while Biden’s approval ratings are tanking — with polls showing almost half of the country opposes his Build Back Better proposal.
Joe Manchin continues to vex both political parties — single-handedly standing in the way of Biden’s socialist agenda.
Despite harsh criticism from leftists, Manchin is holding fast against the agenda — warning his fellow Democrats of the harm Biden’s plan would inflict.
